November 26th is BC Magazine Day and we are celebrating by offering a FREE GIVEAWAY! BC Magazine Day is an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of magazine professionals and publishers, appreciate the range and quality of local publications, and recognize the magazine industry’s important contributions to informing and entertaining people living in British Columbia and around the world.

We are proud to be the only surviving print publication celebrating arts and culture in Northern BC. Today we are taking the time to say thank you to our loyal readers by offering one lucky follower a copy of our entire collection (Volumes 1-8). To enter, follow us on Facebook and share this post, telling us what you appreciate about Thimbleberry Magazine and/or the arts and culture scene here in the north. The winner will be announced December 3rd, just in time for Christmas!

Sitting here impatiently waiting for boxes of the new issue to arrive in the mail. Isn't the cover art by Prince George artist Emily Wilson gorgeous? This piece, entitled "Yellowed Dreamscape," is one of many paintings featured in Wilson's exhibition "Up Around the Bend," which depicts her interpretation of life along the Highway of Tears. To learn more about the exhibition (and, indeed, to see the full image, which wraps around the cover), pick up a copy of our Fall/Winter 2023 issue at a local bookstore near you soon!
