THE GAME ROOM with Mike & Shaun is a web-series starring Mike Meier & Shaun Bargy that focuses on playing through & reviewing video games that were released on the more recent to the brand new video game consoles, such as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, XBOX 360, XBOX One & Nintendo Switch. This series will feature Mike & Shaun’s unique brand of oddball & twisted humor, plus off the wall comment

ary & bantering about all of the many games they choose to review on this show. What makes this series unique is that every episode of THE GAME ROOM, Mike & Shaun will be seen on the bottom left corner of the screen behind the footage of the many games they will be playing in a similar to an extent fashion as a lot of the game-play videos you would see on YouTube. The commentary will range from making pop culture references (music to TV shows, to comic books & movies) humorously, while at the same time telling mostly all new jokes & some recycled ones that they’ve been known to tell from time to time (whenever they hang out together at Mike’s apartment on the day of his birthday on October 30th).

Just today & I was completely surprised by this, I found a neat little peripheral for my PlayStation 2 slim console. It's a multi-tap designed to allow four players to play certain games that are made specifically for that purpose. It fits my console rather nicely if I may say so myself.

Just recently, when I was at Walmart up in College Heights, I purchased the Thrustmaster flight stick controller for the PlayStation 4, as I have become interested in using it to play a variety of flying/air combat games, one of which being the new Ace Combat 7 game once I get it as well as some DLCs of various Fighter planes you can use in the game, some of which I really would like to try out.

Check out some of these new game I was able to purchase for the PlayStation 3 today when I was at Game Quest. I finally have Warhawk, DC'S Injustice: Gods Among us & Duke Nukem Forever. Shaun has always wanted to play Injustice: Gods Among Us on The Game Room with me, should the first episode ever actually happen. I hope to one day get around to doing just that.

In addition to getting two HDMI cables, plus a new we**am, I was also able to get an HDMI Capture card for all of the game consoles Shaun & I will be using for the many video game playthrough videos we will be doing, once we are able to get together & start making the show. I was also able to get another USB extension cable for the we**am, too. I will keep you updated on my progress as soon as new info becomes available.

I have some awesome news! I was finally able to purchase some equipment to be used for when Shaun & I start making episodes of the Webseries THE GAME ROOM with Mike and Shaun. I now have a new we**am (which can be mounted onto a tripod), a couple of HDMI cables (one for the laptop & my Flatscreen television set, the other for the game consoles Shaun & I will be using for the video game playthroughs we'll be doing). I will keep you updated in regards to my progress as soon as new info becomes available.

When Shaun & I talked not too long ago, he suggested that we do a video of us playing the newer version of the iconic fighting game KILLER INSTINCT. I'm not entirely sure if we'll be playing it on XBOX One or the PlayStation 4. I'll have to talk with him about that as soon as I know more. If it's on the XBOX One, that's great as I have the MayFlash arcade fighting stick F300 controller, designed for use on PlayStations 3 & 4, plus the XBOX 360 & XBOX One. It also works with Android tablet, PC & Nintendo Switch.

Here's a game that Shaun & I should really consider doing a play through of on an episode of THE GAME ROOM with Mike and Shaun. It's a side scrolling shoot em up video game that was originally released for the PlayStation 3, but got re-released for the PlayStation 4. How cool is that? That game is none other than Soldner X2: Final Prototype Definitive Edition. I tried it out but was unable to find all of the keys needed to unlock the next level of the game. It may be a very difficult game to master & play through, but it is a lot of fun, I have to admit that.

In future episodes of THE GAME ROOM with Mike and Shaun, I would absolutely love to do some play through & review videos of the retro-mini game consoles that got released over the years, namely the Sega Genesis Mini, the Super Nintendo Mini, the Nintendo NES mini, maybe a few others. It's something worth looking into, wouldn't you say?
