BIG WEEK AHEAD, as I start recording the audiobook narration with Sonic Studios for my third book: 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡, 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠.

Both the audiobook and hard copy version are scheduled for release in July 2023. What do you think about the title?

So grateful for our friendship with Clifford Quaw. He has taught us at Sonic Studios more than he’ll ever know. We hope that you took a moment today, the second annual Day for Truth and Reconciliation, to think about how we can heal as a nation. The First Nations people believe that it takes seven generations to heal trauma. The last students in residential schools were only 2-3 generations ago… we still have much work to do. We’re grateful for the opportunity Clifford has given us to learn, and consider a perspective outside our own experience.

The second annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is approaching. On Friday we will honour the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their stories, families and communities. Sonic Studios will be at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park to record and livestream for those who can not attend in person.

We got to visit the The Vanderhoof Cultural Centre on Thursday to do some interior and exterior photos. It's an awesome upgrade / addition to the museum :-)

I got to visit the JD Little Forest Centre (tree nursery) in June 2022 for a project and got to record a bunch of great b-roll shots of the facility. These are just some highlights that I got from the day.

I must say, getting to record the audiobook with John A. Brink for his book, ADHD Unlocked, was a great experience...I learned a lot from the book (mostly because I have quite a few people in my life who have ADHD).

I've listened to other books about ADHD, I've read lots of articles about people with ADHD, and I have spent a lot of time talking about ADHD with my family and friends....and John's book still contributed a lot to my understanding of the condition as well as how people with ADHD can unlock the good things about it and leverage them to create success in their lives.

Sonic Studios recorded the audiobook and got it submitted to Audible and Apple, submitted the eBook to be available on Kindle, and also setup the Brink Group to be able to sell the hard copy of the book on Amazon. EVERYTHING should be availble for purchase on July 26th 2022. For anyone in Prince George, Books and Company has copies you can pick up in store.

I have to say, being in a greenhouse like this at the JD Little Nursery is pretty awesome! The energy in there is amazing :-)

I was at the nursery today to do some filming both inside and outside. Rick, one of the managers there was telling me that they have 25 green houses and produce over 8 million seedlings per year. Awesome!

It was quite an awesome adventure to get to go out and film these Caribou and interview all these amazing people for the McLeod Lake Indian Band. Their message is important, and the work they are doing is improving the Caribou herd in the area. Take some time and watch this awesome video :-)
