We feature a different resident or family on the cover every month and highlight local businesses, community groups and non-profit organizations. Our Sports section celebrates local teams and athletes, and in every issue we share a relevant Arts & Cult

ure article with our readership. Much of the content is collaborative, submitted by the residents themselves. The Calendar of Events pulls together what’s happening for the month and has become a resource for many.

Calling all Youth: grab your camera and step into nature!

We are looking for the most stunning images of trees in Qualicum Beach!
Show us their strength, their beauty, their significance.

Open to photographers of all skill levels and all ages — youth entries are absolutely welcome! The photograph must be of a tree within the municipal boundaries of Qualicum Beach and taken within the last 12 months.

iSpy Treasure Hunt starts today in Qualicum Beach!

20 local shops participating this year with a new format. Enjoy the hunt!

ISpy is back.

The most fun game in town has a new twist. Starting this Thursday July 24, 2025, twenty local shops will be participating in our summer treasure hunt!

Explore our village by the sea! Pick up a map and collect stamps from all participating local stores and stops in and around our village. Answer some local trivia and enter to win. Here’s how to play:

1. Pick up your gamecard and map from village shops on 2nd Avenue or at our booth at the Thursday Night Market on July 24 or 31. Or download it from qbcollective.ca

2. Collect stamps from all participating local stores and stops in and around our village.

3. Drop off your completed completed gamecard at any participating stores by August 4.

4. Enter to win 1 of 5 prizes of $50 in QB Bucks, 1 Grand Prize of $250 in QB Bucks, or a special Chef's tasting experience for two at the QB Cafe!

The contest runs until Monday August 4th.

What is your favourite part of the Town's annual Beach Day event? 🌊​😎​⛱️

​⛱️ Is it the marine displays and beach awareness?
​⛱️ Is it the mini golf, dunk tank, or sandcastle building?
​⛱️ Perhaps it's the live entertainment happening all day?
​Whatever it is, we are confident this free family event has something for everyone!

We even have FREE SHUTTLES to the waterfront starting at 11:30 am until 4pm from the Berwick Retirement Community on 120 First Ave W to Shores Cafe on the waterfront.

Come join us at the waterfront Sunday, July 27 from 12 pm to 4 pm!
