If you only had 4 days near Montreal… this is the road trip I’d do.

Day 1–2: Montréal

📍 Old Port of Montreal – Wander charming cobblestone streets along the St. Lawrence River in one of the most iconic areas of the city.

🏖 Clock Tower Beach – A sandy urban beach in the heart of the city with amazing skyline views.

🎭 Place Jacques-Cartier – A lively square filled with street performers, terraces, and colorful historic buildings.

🚴 Lachine Canal – One of the best scenic bike paths in Montreal, perfect for a ride along the water.

🍺 Memento Brasserie Artisanale – The perfect stop for a refreshing craft beer after exploring the city.

🌇 Place Ville Marie – Head up to the observatory for breathtaking 360° views of Montreal.

🛎 Hôtel Saint-Sulpice – A charming boutique hotel in Old Montreal that’s perfect for a cozy stay.

Day 3–4: Lanaudière Adventure

💦 Parc Régional de la Chute-à-Bull – A short forest hike leads to one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Lanaudière region.

🌲 Parc Régional des Sept-Chutes – Suspension bridges, waterfalls, and epic mountain views make this hike unforgettable.

🏡 Dômes Saint-Côme – A peaceful nature and unique stay in a dome, surrounded by mountains, perfect after a day of adventure.

✨ Chute Jean-Larose
📍 Beaupré, Quebec
🚗 45 minutes from Quebec City • 3 hours from Montreal
🥾 5 km round trip — part of the iconic Mestachibo Trail
🅿️ Easy parking — just follow your GPS (well marked on Google Maps)
🐶 Dog-friendly
👶🏻 Family-friendly — perfect with little adventurers 🤍

🌿 Best time to visit? Spring!
As the snow melts, the water flow is at its strongest, making the waterfall way more powerful and impressive than later in the season.
👉 April • May • June = prime time 💦

💧 Two ways to reach the waterfall:
1️⃣ Take the stairs for a quick 10–15 min walk (out & back).
2️⃣ Or do the full 5 km loop and reach the falls at the end for the full experience!

✨ Tip: After heavy rain or peak snowmelt, expect epic views (and a little mist — totally worth it).

Have fun & stay safe out there 🤍
