This album is the culmination of years of work, as some of these songs started to form back in 2018 right after the Opeth tribute project Sunbird that 3 of us were a part of ended. We started trying to record the album ourselves in 2020 but there was quite a steep hill to climb in terms of learning the technical aspects of recording, getting things to sound how we wanted, producing ourselves etc. We officially finished recording the album in February 2023 and it felt like a big milestone for us, only surpassed by finally releasing the album today.

Thanks to Marcel Leblanc ART- for the beautiful artwork, he nailed the vibe we wanted for the album cover and produced a beautiful piece of art in and of itself. Fun fact, Marcel and Sam are childhood friends and have collaborated on projects since middle school, so this collaboration was a natural continuation of that friendship!
Thanks to Asher Media Relations for being an amazing publicist throughout the entire album release process, Jon is a fantastic person to work with and it's obvious that he's really passionate about the metal scene.
Finally, thanks to Music / Musique NB, Arts Culture NB & Government of New Brunswick for helping fund the release of this album. Their help allowed us to spread our music to many more people than would have been possible without it, and gave us the chance to produce the high quality artwork and videos that we've shared so far.
Now, time to go play 15 shows! We hope to see some of you out there. And after that, it'll be time to do it all over again, we're already eager to write our 2nd album and surpass ourselves in every way possible.
