Children don’t need the perfect words when you tell them about divorce - they need to feel your steadiness. 💛

Breathe first. Speak gently. Reassure what’s staying the same.

Safety isn’t found in explanations - it’s found in connection. 🌿

Wise words shared by Louise Rellis, founder of Anam Rural Youth Association - a gentle reminder that the calm we bring matters more than the script we say.

When life changes hit hard, men often go quiet.
Stress gets buried. Emotions get minimized. Health gets pushed aside.

That’s why we created the Men’s Health Panel; to normalize help, support, and community connection. 🌿

If you’ve been carrying more than you’re saying… this conversation is for you.

“You’re in the in-between. The old you is fading, and the new you is slowly emerging.” 🌿

Transitions can feel uncertain, uncomfortable, even messy, but they are also sacred. They’re the space where growth begins, where you release what no longer fits and make room for something new.

You don’t need to rush the process. You’re not falling apart, you’re becoming.

The most powerful way to build trust at work? Make people feel seen.

In my recent poll on what really drains trust and performance at work, one answer stood out:
“Not feeling seen” took the lead with 43% of the votes.

It wasn’t quick judgments.
It wasn’t even output obsession.

It was the quiet but constant experience of feeling invisible.

And the comments told the story:
- “Employees aren’t just working for the company. They’re building it.”
- “Culture isn’t policies. It’s connection.”
- “If people don’t feel seen, they won’t stay.”

So what helps?
Curiosity.
Modeling.
Acknowledging the messy middle of being human at work.

One leader shared how they hosted lunch 'n learns to teach scripts for exiting gossip, and then modeled that behavior themselves.

Not flashy. Just consistent. Real.
And it worked.

Here’s what I keep coming back to:
- People shouldn’t have to shout to be noticed.
Or break down to be believed.

- The most impactful leaders aren’t always the loudest, they’re the ones who see people before they slip through the cracks.

If your culture feels like it’s struggling, maybe the question isn’t “Why are they leaving?”
It’s “Why would they want to stay?”

How does your team create space for people to feel seen and supported?

I’d love to hear what’s working (or missing).

There’s no “one-size-fits-all” way to heal, and there’s no single kind of support.

Your path might include:
✨ Therapy or coaching
✨ Faith or spirituality
✨ Community groups
✨ Reading, journaling, or movement

Whatever helps you reconnect to yourself, that’s the right path. 💛

Save this as a reminder that your way is valid.

🎙️Where can men find support during divorce? Meet someone who is making a difference with real help.

🎧 Mike Thibeau has been there. He gets it. After a 10 year divorce process, one that landed him in the hospital, and needed 3 different lawyers, he knows there isn't a lot of support out there for men navigating this very difficult challenge.

He's created ManUP, a support group where men can find encouragement from peers, credible information from experts, and know they are not alone.
