Plaids, Hats, or Tats is the first single from Edmonton based skatepunk trio, Broken Yolks on their upcoming first full length release “The View of the Bystander”

Drummer Matt Bordato says, “this song is more or less a tongue-in-cheek poke at the conforming non-conformity of fashion in the scene in our city. Have you ever noticed most local shows are just dudes in plaid, wearing hats, and sporting tats? For a genre built on non-conformity, we all certainly seem to have found the uniform. We thought it would be funny to write a song about that. To be clear though, we are just as guilty - we do it too!”

We're stoked as a yolk to announce that our Edmonton pals Broken Yolks have officially boarded the SS Denim! Welcome to the family, boys!

They'll be coming in hot with a new record called "The View Of The Bystander" in August 8 and the first single "Plaids, Hats, or Tats" will drop on the 4th of July! And check this out - this release will exist in vinyl form as well. Still no word on "pog form" but wax is just as good! We'll have a pre-order up for that very soon!

Oh what's all this then? .ozone.layer has a sneaky new Ramones-core band called and here is their debut tune called "Horrortown!"

Hailing from the edge of Eastern Canada, The Regans are a no-frills, full-throttle Ramonescore punk band with hooks sharper than a salt breeze. Powered by downstrokes, gang vocals, and the kind of energy that can only come from garage floors and basement shows, The Regans channel classic '77 punk with an East Coast bite.

Whoa! He's been hiding in the shadows but Remy Verreault - Music - RV is back with a new record. Here's the first single!

A musician with a turbulent past but no real success, he started a solo project during the pandemic and released an album in 2021. Blending melodic and aggressive punk rock, Remy Verreault does what he loves without trying to please — it's up to you to follow his madness.
