We are back with another Balling on a Budget with JP, head chef/co-owner of Free Bird in Lumsden, SK and this time we are fully embracing the summer with a BBQ Summer Special taking place not at the restaurant but instead out at the cabin! Ribs, jerk chicken, shrimp, and fire roasted veggies are on the menu for this kicked back and relaxed episode! Happy summer everyone!

Nestled in the small town of Arcola, SK: Kevin Paton Antiques houses collectables and artifacts acquired over decades of collecting all housed within an historic 1900's garage making it a perfect fit for our latest episode of SK Colletors! Kevin Paton takes us through the history of the building, his love for collecting, and gives us a tour of the building and some of his favourite things he has acquired over his many years of collecting!

Today is the big day! One of the series we have had the joy of helping on over the past 6 months is airing its first episode! Prairie Cat Productions has really done a great job of putting this story together and if you have a chance I recommend giving it a watch and following along for the season as we learn more about Ryan's journey!

Episode 1 of our new docuseries We Were Broncos premieres TONIGHT on AMI-tv and AMI+ at 7:00pm CST (9:00pm EST)! The episode explores Humboldt Broncos bus crash survivor Ryan Straschnitzki's goal of making the Paralympics as he tries to narrow down which parasport to pursue.

We have had so much fun working with Prairie Cat Productions providing assistant editing on We Were Broncos to help bring the series to life! The past few months have been busy but so exciting and rewarding to get to see the series from start to finish. We are looking forward to seeing the final project with everyone when the series launches officially in two weeks! Such an amazing crew to work with and a really impactful story!

We're only two weeks away from the episode 1 premiere of We Were Broncos on AMI TV. And with that, here is the official poster for the series!

Check back for more teasers and news in the next couple weeks and tune in to AMI-tv across Canada on Monday May 26th at 7:00pm CST (9:00pm EST) to watch the first of six episodes.

We are so happy to be back with J.P Head Chef/Co-Owner of Free Bird in Lumsden, SK for our first Balling on a Budget of 2025! To kick off the new year J.P is teaching us how to make a full 3 course meal while still on a budget! Tasty meatballs as an appetizer, pork tenderloin for the main course and a fruity dessert all jam packed into this episode for a budget under $85 that is sure to wow any of your guests!

We were able to showcase so many amazing recipes with J.P in 2024 and this year J.P thinks we are ready for some more advanced ideas so we are kicking things off right and looking forward to a year packed full of amazing recipes to try at home!

With 2024 coming to an end we are excited to be able to share with everyone our final production of the year! Big thank you to Shawn from The-Terrain-Studio for taking some time to share with us his talents and passion for creating extremely detailed miniature worlds for wargaming and other tabletop games! From Warhammer, Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, and more: The work Shawn does is truly amazing and brings these worlds to life in a way that can be enjoyed from home!

With Christmas Eve only a week away, we wanted to do something fun this year to not only celebrate an amazing 2024 but also to help get everyone into the Christmas Spirit! So we present to everyone our first "A Saskatchewan Holiday Special"!

Christmas collectables that bring us joy, a holiday baking recipe for everyone to try this festive season, and a live performance of some of your favourite holiday music: this special has it all!

So sit back with some eggnog, cozy up by the fire, and enjoy a Holiday variety show that's sure to get everyone in the Christmas Spirit!

New Balling on a Budget episode is live! JP at Free Bird in Lumsden, SK out did himself on this episode as he teaches us how to make a fantastic Sunday Roast with a side of Yorkshire Puddings and Roasted Vegetables! As someone who had a chance to taste this meal I highly recommend!
