But honestly, seeing the mountains covered in clouds made it feel even more beautiful.

Rainy mornings, warm coffee, and quiet reminders that life doesn’t always need to be rushed.

Some days aren’t meant for big achievements.

Some days are simply for slowing down, breathing deeply, and appreciating the little things we often overlook.

The sound of rain.
A warm cup of coffee.
A peaceful moment to yourself.

And somehow, that’s enough. 🤎

This weekend, we visited ᑕᗩᔕᗩ ᑕᗩ丅ᖇᎥᑎᗩ and introduced our girls to some of the dishes their dad grew up with. 🇲🇽❤️🇵🇭

One of the ways we teach our daughters about their Mexican roots is through experiences like this.

Not just through stories.

But through food, traditions, and moments they'll hopefully remember for years to come.

Because culture isn't something you simply tell your children about.

It's something you help them experience.

As a Filipino-Mexican family, we're grateful to share both sides of their story—one meal, one tradition, and one memory at a time.

There was a time when they couldn’t take a single step without us.

Now they’re riding farther and farther ahead.

And one day…

they’ll build lives of their own.

That’s the beautiful thing about raising children.

You spend years helping them grow wings,

💕 3 Things I Learned As A Homeschool Mom

1️⃣ Learning doesn't only happen at a desk.

Some of our best lessons happened during road trips, nature walks, museums, and everyday conversations.

2️⃣ Every child learns differently.

What works for one child may not work for another. Homeschooling taught me to focus less on comparison and more on understanding my children.

3️⃣ Every family is different.

There is no single "right way" to educate, parent, or build a family life. What matters is finding what works for your family.

And maybe that's the biggest lesson of all.

The goal isn't perfection.

It's raising curious, confident, and kind human beings while enjoying the journey together. ❤️
