This week, I dug into the event that put S**g Harbour on the map - the UFO that crashed in the water in 1967. Except, they couldn't find any debris, any evidence, or anything in general, after the crash, except for a layer of yellow foam on the water.

The Grant Hall Hotel is nearly 100 years old, so it shouldn't be surprising that there may be the odd phantom guest that stops in.

Built in the 1920s, the community railway hotel named after a Canadian Pacific Railway bigwig has seen many owners, including being left abandoned for a decade.

Did you know? Winston Churchill saw a ghost!

The story goes - When visiting the White House after World War II, Churchill claimed to see the ghost of Abraham Lincoln smile at him before vanishing into thin air. Apparently, Churchill didn't like staying in the Lincoln room after that (especially since he was supposedly fresh out of the tub, and not even wearing a towel when it happened)!

Apparently, he wasn't the only one to see Lincoln's ghost in the White House. Have you heard any ghost stories from the White House?

Did you know - ectoplasm isn't just from Ghostbusters?

There was a time in early spiritualism in the late 1800s and early 1900s when mediums claimed to produce ectoplasm when "conversing with the spirits".

Once scientists were able to get their hands on the supposed spiritual substance, however, it was determined that the ghostly material was actually made from things like cheesecloth, tea towels, and newspaper clippings.

I guess there was a reason that mediums back then liked to hold seances in the dark!

Want to know what episodes to expect in Season 2?

I'm very excited to keep most of the same episode themes from Season 1, as they seemed to all go very well!

However, given I am the collector of stories... I thought it only made sense to create a new season theme! Here are all the themes coming in Season 2:

1. Haunted Saskatchewan Listener Collections: these will be based entirely on what you, the listeners, submit to the show! I'll be collecting more ghost stories and unexplained experiences to share on the show. Submit your stories today!

2. Guest Appearances: of course, we have to have more guests on the show. This season will not disappoint, and I'm very excited to announce the first guest... so stay tuned!!

3. Local Saskatchewan Haunts: these were your favourite episodes by far, so they are definitely making a come back this season. We'll be expanding the haunted locations to new places across Saskatchewan. Will your town or city be featured next?

4. Canadian Legends & Monsters: we only scratched the surface of urban legends, mysteries, paranormal cases, and monsters across Canada. Tune in for even more stories and historical research behind where the legends started and how you can try to experience them for yourselves!
