Hi friends! It probably feels like it’s been forever since I’ve posted because it actually HAS 🥴😂

I haven’t been doing any less portraits, or missed any orders, I’ve just mostly been SO exhausted both physically & emotionally with this third wave of COVID that almost all my work for .co has been taking place offline/behind the scenes. ✨💗

Many of the portraits & images I’ve created as of late have been time sensitive surprises & gifts which also limits me in what I can and cannot post - however, some of the deadlines have passed and images have been gifted and despite my crazy work schedule I anticipate a little more social media activity taking place over here 🤪🥳

It’s really easy to get all caught up in the hustle and bustle of day to day life from being a mother, a wife, an RN and all the other hats I wear every👏🏻single👏🏻day lol
The past little while I’ve really had to focus on enjoying the little things, taking my time and being patient with myself — because I’m quite literally running on empty. 😅

AND THATS WHY I enjoy doing these portraits. It’s so therapeutic and relaxing for me, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and if I make a mistake I can just erase it and start over — no ones life is on the line here; a nice change of pace for me 🥴😂

Anyhow, enjoy this portrait of Nicki & Mike that I had the pleasure of doing up recently 😍 I can’t wait until we’re through this chaos on the other side so we can get back out and about celebrating weddings, birthdays, anniversaries & homecomings 🥲😂

The hand drawn wedding venue is such a special and unique way to personalize your wedding invitations — as well as preserve this place and moment in time & what it means to you 🥺💖

I absolutely love the idea that no one will ever have this exact wedding invitation and that it has both aesthetic and sentimental value to the Bride and Groom 🥰

It was such a pleasure to work on this for these two and I can’t wait to share the final product with you all — 🚨 spoiler alert 🚨 I’ve seen the draft and they’re GORGEOUS !!!!

I love how you guys continue to trust and challenge me in all these new and special endeavours, I’m taking on new projects every day & learn as I go with all of your patience and faith in me! And for that, I’m truly thankful 🙏🏻

I am really really REAAAAAALY excited to share this piece with you all — this is a custom & completely original work for a very special ✨ Bride To Be ✨👰🏼‍♀️

When she reached out to me to have me design her wedding invitations I was SUPER honoured and excited to be trusted with such an important task 🥺💗

We worked together to bring their vision to life and managed to come up with not one but TWO beautiful works that are completely unique to them for their special day 👏🏻🥰

Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but this piece in particular incorporates both of their birth flowers: Poppies & Gladiolus’, to include not just a beautiful, but sentimental component as well 🌸

It was a privilege and a gift to work on this for them and I can’t wait to see this piece in its home on their finished invitations 💌

Alright, somebody pinch me, I’m dreaming 🥺💗

This is one of THREE pieces for .d.mccall & I just couldn’t wait to share this one with all of you! This image just really gives me Disney Princess meets The Ranch vibes idk lmao but I LOVE IT 🥰👏🏻

These two love birds were an absolute TREAT to draw, making this one was so effortless, relaxing and therapeutic for me — all the reasons I started doing this in the first place & a Sunday well spent ✨

I’m working days tomorrow — I’ve lost an hour AND it’s Monday SO I’ll be going to bed early & no one can stop me 😂 Asking for ALL the good vibes you have to give please... this weekend just wasn’t long enough 😩😭

Sweet baby ✨ELLIE✨

Where does the TIME go?! See, the newborn stage is my favourite — I know not everyone feels this way, but for me there is nothing more precious than a teeny, tiny sleepy bundle that is contented just by the sound of your voice, your touch, or the smell of your skin 🥺❤️

Much like Ellie, my two sweet baby girls have since GROWN from tiny little bundles into fierce, strong, independent little ladies; and though each day is a NEW challenge and adventure I really do miss when they were this small 😩❤️

The wedding photo you never knew you needed 🥺💕

The day these two got married was somewhat of an OCCASION around these parts — and I, for one, am not in the LEAST bit surprised at why 😍

I remember looking nothing short of angelic on her wedding day, and though I could NEVER do it justice, it was an absolute privilege to stare at her for a couple of hours 🥵😍

I am so happy with the way this piece turned out and I can’t wait to see it hanging up in their family home in NO time (which by the way is such a SURREAL concept to me 🥺💖)

Today I had the pleasure of drawing these four PERFECT people — and I couldn’t be happier with the final product 😍✨

However, today I ALSO learned that Courtney’s husband HATES mustard yellow 😂❤️
Now me, I LOVE me a good mustard — honestly, growing up I hated it, it was the least desirable colour I could conjure up, but NOW I have a (borderline) obsession with it 🥴

I tell you this, because the second photo is the one I had originally completed and forwarded to my client for review — we decided we wanted to completely rework the colours & 👏🏻 THATS 👏🏻 OKAY 👏🏻😌
In minutes we had a (TOTALLY) different portrait, that gives off a whole new vibe, and just when I didn’t think I could love it any MORE - I DID! 🙊

Your portraits are completely customizable to you, I don’t get paid until I’ve created the portrait YOU want, to your taste, for your space — everyone has different taste and the best portrait (in my opinion) is the one you can’t WAIT to share with others 😌

& on that note, Courtney, everytime I see a nice mustard yellow I’ll think of you and your family, (and your husbands disdain for this colour) probably until the day die 😂💖

Hello friends !! * it’s been a MINUTE * 🤪

I have been working SO much , so I’ve been neglecting social media a little bit — but I’ve been really busy behind the scenes here, silently completing orders and sending them off to their new homes 😌

I am so thankful for everyone’s continued support and I truly cannot BELIEVE there are 600 of you that want to follow along and share in this adventure with me. I’m hoping to be a little more active this week and show you guys everything I’ve been working on - but for now here is a super SWEET photo of my darling coworker and her beautiful family (ft. her brand NEW babe🥺💕)

The last of a little LOVE day action before I have to go in for nights tonight — I truly ENJOYED my week off 😌✨

However — a week away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital did not mean we weren’t still busy over here! In this passed week:

✨ My oldest child turned EIGHT years old
✨ I celebrated my (sixth or seventh idk) Valentine’s Day with my Husband
✨ We celebrated Family Day for the first time in our new home

AND

🎉I’ve completed my first TWENTY orders since opening🎉
I have the next twenty about STARTED after the chaos of Valentine’s Day portraits it will be nice to settle back into a routine of working & creating & nursing.

👩🏼‍⚕️One last night before making the switch to basically straight days in the ER - which will be a bit of a culture shock I think after a MONTH and a HALF of nights and a backwards sleep schedule 😂 BUT I’m very excited to be heading back to emerge, there’s just something about it that sets my soul on fire 🙊💗

ANYHOW - I hope everyone has a good week, if you’re wondering whether or not it’s almost your turn it probably IS - so those of you with pending orders : Keep an eye on your DM’s/E-Mail in the next week or so as I finish all of these up 🥰

Aren’t ‘s pets absolutely adorable 🐶💗🙊

Hehe just kidding , you know I love ya 😂💕

My two friends had to spend their Love Day (and SO many other days) apart this year because this man is in New York becoming a ✨chiropractor✨🥵
Naturally, his gorgeous girlfriend & their pup are missing him like crazy — as are we to be honest (sad face)

We are very proud of you Connor & you better believe this nurse has a back for you to ✨crack✨ when you’re a Doctor (or whatever🤪)
