Jaden “Juno” Bass is a Queens, NYC born and based techno DJ + booker at Bossa Nova Civic Club and Paragon. To sum it up best, sees techno as a textbook through culture and history.

The Queens, NY-born Jamaican DJ has always gravitated toward electronic music since they were younger, but it wasn’t until after their time living in Germany and North Carolina that they realized how much deeper this music goes. Through their own research and the guidance of the owners of the former NC record store 641 RPM (shoutout E&T), they discovered the roots and sound of the music we all love. Underground Resistance, DJ Bone , Jay Denham , and many more acts and individuals inspired them and shaped what this music means to them, as well as what it can teach to so many, such as themes of resistance, community, and humanity.

Back in Queens, they’ve been making their way around the circuit, playing at notable spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, Basement, Signal & H0L0. Picking up records in late 2023 only deepened their passion and knowledge of music, and they’ve become increasingly comfortable with their style, showcasing it whenever they can in the current NYC club scene.
