Our story (so far)

Could you be the owner and editor of this local publication? Read on -- please.

First, the history:

The Rossland Telegraph was founded in 2008 by local author Adrian Barnes and his friend David Livingston, who designed and built the website for this Rossland online-only publication.

The Telegraph expanded its reach as “Lone Sheep Publishing,” a partnership with with four editorially independent franchises: the Trail Champion, the Castlegar Source, The Nelson Daily, and the Boundary Sentinel. Adrian was the editor of the Rossland Telegraph until late 2014, when he developed a Stage IV glioblastoma and was unable to continue. He persuaded the current editor, who had been reporting on City Council meetings for him, to take on the responsibility for continuing this local community publication.
