Today on the show we started talking pineapples and inflammation - that led to this wonderful Cocktail / Mocktail... since so many have requested the recipe, here it is! Drink up and let us know what you think.

Tropical Pineapple Mojito
Ingredients:

For the Cocktail:

2 oz white rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup (or agave syrup)
6-8 fresh mint leaves
Club soda
Ice
Pineapple slices and mint sprigs for garnish

For the Mocktail:

1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup (or agave syrup)
6-8 fresh mint leaves
Club soda
Ice
Pineapple slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

Prepare the Glass:
Add the mint leaves and simple syrup (or agave syrup) to a glass.
Gently muddle the mint leaves to release their flavor, but avoid tearing them into pieces.

Mix the Drink:
Add the pineapple juice, lime juice, and white rum (for the cocktail) or just the pineapple juice and lime juice (for the mocktail) to the glass.
Fill the glass with ice.

Top It Off:
Top with club soda and stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

Garnish:
Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a sprig of mint.

Serve:
Serve immediately and enjoy!
