A natural remedy to soothe your throat and boost immunity. When made with care, this syrup is toddler-friendly*

š§
1 medium onion (sliced)
š§ A few cloves of garlic (optional for toddlers)
šŖ“ A few sprigs each of sage, oregano, rosemary or any other immune boosting herbs (Iām using sage and oregano today)
šÆ Raw honey - enough to cover the ingredients (any honey is good, local honey is better)
How-to:
⢠Slice the onion and garlic, and crush the herbs.
⢠Layer the ingredients in a clean jar, adding honey to cover each layer.
⢠Seal the jar and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
⢠Strain the mixture into a clean container and discard the solids.
⢠Store the syrup in the fridge for up to 7 days, or freeze in small portions for up to 3 months. Freeze in ice cube trays for easy single servings!
How to Use:
⢠Take 1-3 times a day or as needed every few hours.
⢠For toddlers* (over 1 year old), start with a smaller dose (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) and consult your pediatrician first if unsure!
