October 19, 2012: Stephen King talked with a group of students at Sussex Regional High School in New Brunswick. Students had sent more than 1,200 letters asking the world-famous authour to come to their town. Guess what? He did! He offered a writing workshop for 18 students and addressed 80 students in the school’s theatre. He wore a grey T-shirt and jeans to the school. The in-school campaign was called “Seeking Stephen King.” He took some of the stories the students had written home with him. (Photo: Bonny Hill)

JOELLE: I sure hope the weather is nice for these cruise ship passengers since they will have only beach clothes with them! However they will not be able to disembark the ship after cruising into the port city.
Royal Caribbean’s ‘Vision of the Seas’ is making an unexpected stop in Saint John on Monday evening for an overnight stay. The cruise ship was scheduled for Bermuda but due to weather is now coming north for just 1 stop. Passengers had the option to get a full refund before the ship left the dock in Baltimore, Maryland.
