We are getting ready to attend the craft show at the Masonic Centre. There will be a slew of great vendors and a raffle table full of amazing prizes with the proceeds going to Daisys Place. We hope to see you there. May 31 from 10-3

Just to add to this if you have moved away from town and into the country and plan on setting off fireworks please let nearby livestock farms know this so that they can protect their animals.

As Victoria Day approaches, we’d like to remind residents about the rules regarding fireworks and firework displays. 🎆

Fireworks are only allowed to be set off on Monday, May 19 between dusk and midnight.

I wonder if any of our FB friends here can find room in their hearts and homes to help a dog in need. We all know the insane amount of pet dumping happening. In part thanks to covid and of course many other circumstances for folks.
Karlie and I decided to take the plunge at something I swore I would never be capable of doing in an ongoing basis. Loving and letting go isnt easy but it is so incredibly worth it. My kiddo has the most amazing outlook in terms of fostering. She is a wonderfully bright, intelligent girl that is far stronger than I think she realises. Her words convinced me this was the right thing to do and she wasnt wrong.
Although this is by far not our first rodeo persay , the commitment is a little different this time for us.
That said more fosters are always needed as there is plenty of dogs that are in need until they find that special home that will love them forever.
