A little varnish goes a long way!

Thanks to my mom, Martha Laing, for helping with sanding and varnishing! She had to pop back in to Geerlinks Home Hardware Building Centre and Design Gallery tonight to pick up some extra varnish part way through. Should have enough to finish the last two coats now though!

Special thanks to Kaven from MD Construction 1987 for putting up with all my patterning as I matched up the walnut, ash, and maple into an abstract pattern while we installed the studio floor.

Also, huge thanks to my dad, Ken Laing, for providing, milling, and also helping install the hardwood flooring that all came from the bush on our farm.

Thanks to Mike Kerkvliet from the Small Business Enterprise Centre (St Thomas Proud) for helping to install the final floor board on New Years Eve.

And of course, thanks to my incredible wife, Jess Andrews, for her patience as I've worked on the new studio through the holidays!

Every project takes a village, as they say.

Can't wait to get all the trim and final touches up! So excited!
