STREAM & PREORDER VINYL TODAY! Two incredible bands have delivered two amazing new songs each in the Fire Sale / The Corps “Split Decision” 7”. All 4 brand new tunes are streaming everywhere right now so listen up! In addition, we have a worldwide preorder live today through our friends at Thousand Islands Records (Canada), Bearded Punk Records (Europe), (UK), (AUS/ASIA). The is still at the plant, but this will be in your hands in a few weeks. The hand-painted artwork by rules as usual. Since normally a “Split Decision” in boxing ends up with one of the fighters actually winning, we thought it would be hilarious if both boxers lost. Can’t get much more punk than that. In addition, two individual and amazing t-shirts, inspired by the song lyrics and music, were designed by the uber talented ! The Fire Sale songs were recorded by the band and The Corps songs were recorded/produced by Theo Goutzinakis (of fame). All 4 of these new bangers were mixed by Bill Stevenson of Descendents at and all were mastered by the mad scientist of Colorado aka .

Fire Sale has been burning up the scene over the past few years with a few 7”’s of their own and last year’s “Split Personality” 7” with Pulley. Likewise, The Corps have been burning some rubber on tour across Canada ( with Ignite ) and Europe ( with Strung Out ). If you aren’t familiar with The Corps down in the USA, check out their prior releases as well because they are killer.

Both bands will be playing shows worldwide in 2027 so keep your ears peeled. While you’re waiting, listen to these new songs on streaming services, SAVE the songs because that helps us with the algorithm, and preorder the t-shirt/vinyl bundles!

CANADA HERE WE COME! Negative Progression Records will have a vendor booth at the amazing Music 4 Cancer festival in Canada September 10-12. A portion of the profits from this festival go to cancer research, so it’s and a great cause. Seth Hyman & Chris Swinney (guitarist of Fire Sale) will be hanging out, selling , CDs, shirts and making new friends so stop by and say hi. Look at that freaking lineup!!!

THIS WEEKEND Pulley is playing BrakRock in Belgium! will be performing Friday at 5:40 pm (17:40) on the River Stage. Luckily for all of our European friends, is one of the best festivals happening today. After enjoying Pulley, you can zip over to the Lakeside Stage to watch Horace Pinker and then run over to the Wood Stage to rock out to A Wilhelm Scream , pretty bad ass! Make sure you buy ALL of the Pulley merch, but if they are sold out of the Pulley/Fire Sale “Split Personality” 7”, everyone in Europe should head on over to our European distributors Bearded Punk Records & to buy that .

WARPED TOUR CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME! We had a blast last month at Vans Warped Tour in Washington DC, so we’re doing it again next week on the left coast. Our most popular item was the brand new $4 NPR 2026 pop punk label sampler with all the hits spanning decades of releases. We sold out on Day 1 in DC, but never fear, I had more pressed for . Strangely enough, a large portion of what sold were CDs thanks to the bad ass listening station I set up on an ancient device called a Discman. What is old is new again indeed. In Long Beach we will also have NPR branded bags for free with every purchase, so make sure to pick up a t-shirt or a couple 7”’s.

Big thanks to for volunteering in the heat behind the blazing hot food vendor tent. It’s pretty rad selling Fire Sale stuff and the singer of the band is in our tent proudly promoting his art. Not gonna lie, we all almost passed out, but meeting so many cool people and drinking lots of water helped us push through. One of the most exciting parts of Warped is introducing bands I put out 20 years ago to Gen Z kids who are so stoked. In the era of streaming services, where there is an unlimited selection, a label still is an important tastemaker and trusted source of great curated tunes. I’m still excited to be a gateway drug to kids jonesing for that fix of punk rock energy.

STRUNG OUT / THE CORPS HEAD TO EUROPE! Beginning in July, one of our newest signings, The Corps from Vancouver, BC, Canada will be supporting the one, the only, Strung Out throughout the old world. This is after a full Canadian tour supporting SoCal melodic hardcore legends Ignite ! Just when reports of record heat abound, these two punk rock blazing infernos will make that mercury hit the top of the thermometer. I’ve been listening to Strung Out since 1994, so as a label owner, this is a big bucket list item for me. If you are a fan of this label or these bands in Europe, you absolutely have to make it out to these shows!

As an aside, the Fire Sale / The Corps “Split Decision” 7” is still at the manufacturing plant. From what I’m hearing, vinyl manufacturing all around is hitting some slower turnaround times, so please be patient. It’s worth the wait because both songs by each band are awesome!
