It's National Apple Day! What's your favourite kind of apple?
I was out on the weekend picking apples (it's Megan haha). Perfect weather to be out in an orchard. I picked a half bushel of Northern Spies to can pie filling. Ambrosia for fresh eating and a really nice, floral apple sauce. And Empires for a sweet pinkish sauce and apple butter.
