MEET IAN LINTON!

Ian is a radio broadcasting graduate, music artist and announcer. Ian has been behind a microphone for most of his life so it was only time before he dipped his toes into voice acting. After previously being on the radio and radio commercials it was an easy transition into voice acting as a part of the previous two seasons of the Tear Stained Throne. His vocal range has helped him play many different parts in the series as he is back in two more roles this season!

MEET JOANNA MAKINSON!

Joanna is thrilled to be returning to voice more characters in the Tear Stained Throne for seasons 3 and 4 after providing her vocal talents to several characters in season 2. Joanna has been performing in theatre most of her life, with a special interest in Musical Theatre on stage. Joanna has had the joy of taking on such memorable roles as Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast), the Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat), Ursula (Little Mermaid) and most recently as Molly Jensen in Ghost the Musical. Joanna has also appeared in many other shows such as Rent, Frankenstein the New Musical, The Rocky Horror Show and Curiouser, to just name a few. Joanna has also had the joy of performing with the Voices of Broadway show choir for 11 years. This past year, Joanna was honoured to receive the Gord Robinson Memorial Award of Musical Excellence for her role as the White Queen in the new musical Curiouser.

MEET SIOBHAN MACKENZIE!

Siobhan was born and raised in Manchester, in the UK. She has worked as a background artist for several British TV shows, such as Coronation Street and Waterloo Road and studied drama and performing arts for many years whilst appearing in amateur stage productions. After college, she took a break from acting to care for her grandparents. She eventually moved to the Highlands of Scotland with her family, and got involved with charity work helping those who had experienced gender-based violence. She enjoys photography, writing, reading, watching films, enjoying the outdoors and caring for her 7 pet sheep, 4 dogs and a cat. Siobhan has published several books, and hopes to get some more out soon, if she can stop procrastinating.

MEET MADISON OLIVIER!

Madison is an upcoming talent born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has been dancing since the age of 5 and doing theatre since age 8. She fell in love with performing at the age of 10 when she played Chip in Manitoba Theatre for Young People’s production of Beauty and the Beast (2014). She went on to focus more on theatre and performing as she grew up, and participated in a couple theatre shows around Winnipeg, including North Kildonan Community Players productions of Elf (2019) and Mary Poppins (2018), Winnipeg Studio Theatre’s production of Seussical (2019), and she was a part of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival twice as a leading character with Rising Star Academy of Arts’ productions of On The Next Page (2015) and The Girl Who Hated Books (2016). She recently graduated from a 3-year advanced diploma program at St Clair College in Windsor, Ontario for Music Theatre, and is starting her life and career in theatre. Being a part of The Tear Stained Throne with GrimRose Studios is such an honour, and Madison is so blessed to have been given this opportunity. She can’t wait to explore this side of theatre and learn so much about herself and this line of work. Madison would like to thank her family for always believing in her and trusting her when she said this was what she wanted to do with her life. She would also like to thank her best friends, who have supported her constantly and picked her up when she felt defeated.

MEET NICHOLAS MACEDO!

Nicholas is making his debut in the voice acting world with the roles Head Guard and Guard 4. You may recognize him if you're from the Sarnia-Lambton area as he is involved with Theatre Sarnia and Rebound's Act II theatre program. He is passionate about stage management, however, he's excited to show off his acting chops. As someone who loves fantasy, make-believe, and creativity, Nicholas is thrilled to join the cast of The Tear Stained Throne. He's always wanted to try voice acting and is looking forward to sharing this journey with his wife, Maddisyn Fisher.

MEET MADDISYN FISHER!

Maddisyn is an accomplished artist with a BA and MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from York University. Her most recent productions include Madagascar Jr. (Act II, Director Mentor), Mom's Gift (Theatre Sarnia, Stage Manager), Alice In Wonderland Jr. (Act II, Director), Wolves (Theatre Sarnia, #25), Finding Nemo Jr. (Act II, Director), and Clue (Theatre Sarnia, Cook). As much as she loves to be directing scenes and calling shows, Maddisyn is thrilled to be back in action voicing Joan Reckin in The Tear Stained Throne. This is a dream come true to start her voice acting journey, especially alongside her husband, Nicholas Macedo.

MEET LISA COUNTERMAN!

Lisa Counterman hails from Denver, Colorado, and is thrilled to join the cast of The Tear Stained Throne! While this marks her first voiceover role, Lisa is no stranger to the stage or screen. With a background in musical theater, she has recently embraced her passion for storytelling through film, appearing in lead and supporting roles in numerous student films, short and feature productions, and YouTube series. From comedy sketches to sci-fi adventures and psychological thrillers, Lisa loves exploring the full range of her acting abilities.
In addition to acting, Lisa has discovered a passion for modeling, participating in local fashion events including Cheyenne Fashion Week. She is excited to expand her modeling career internationally, with several shows abroad planned over the next year.
Outside of the arts, Lisa is a licensed special education math teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is supported by her husband, Jason, and their adult children, Emily, Lexi, and Matthew—and she is especially enjoying her newest role as “Grandma” to her 4-year-old granddaughter. In her free time, Lisa loves singing, spending time with her dogs Aggie and Axel, practicing American Sign Language, and visiting her beloved childhood beach in Ocean City, Maryland.

MEET KAVI SCHOTT-RAMIREZ!

Kavi is a lover of Dungeons & Dragons and through his experience of being a Dungeon Master he found a love for bringing characters to life. When the opportunity arose for him to make his voice acting debut, he was ecstatic! Kavi is also a lover of video games from open world sims to RPGs and shooters, taking an interest in the detail that goes into portraying those characters. Kavi is also an avid fiction writer, experimenting with a range of genres for his current work in progress novels.

Kavi Schott-Ramirez portrays Guard 1 and Villager 3 in seasons 3 & 4 of The Tear Stained Throne.

MEET ABBEY AITKEN!

Abbey Aitken is a Canadian-born actress who has been passionate about the craft ever
since seeing her first production at just six years old at the Stratford Festival.
Abbey is currently in her second year of the BFA Acting program at The University of
Windsor, where she has studied voice, movement and improvisation through training that
incorporated the methods and techniques of Stanislavski, Chekov, and Meisner.
Abbey gained success through varied projects in her hometown of Stratford, Ontario and is
proud to have taken on a range of characters in student films across the province. She has
experience on both the stage and screen and has lent her voice to a handful of audiobooks
through Right Hear Audio.
When not performing, Abbey enjoys other forms of art, including jewelry making and sewing.
She loves music and plays ukulele, electric and acoustic guitar, and bass guitar. However,
her passion and curiosity lead to a constantly expanding repertoire.
Abbey is excited to take on this new challenge in the realm of voice acting and strives to
bring a unique personality to the character within a brilliant story and alongside a talented
cast.
