When I said I would love you forever,
it wasn’t poetry—it was a promise.

You are not just part of my life;
you are woven into it.
You brought light back to my smile, warmth to my heart, and hope to my days.

With your hand in mine, I fear no storm.
There is no mountain too high when we stand together.

In your arms, I found home—not a place, but a feeling.

I choose you, every day.
Madly. Deeply. Fiercely.
Unapologetically. Always.
Because real love doesn’t fade.
It grows, evolves, and endures.
Now and forever, I choose you. ❤️

Some mornings, the motivation is missing… but you still show up. 🩺❤️

Work.
Kids.
House.
School.
Life.

Some days I feel like I’m carrying 10 things at once, but I remind myself: I don’t have to have everything figured out. I just have to keep moving.

To every CNA, HCA, PSW, nurse, healthcare worker, student, and tired mom reading this—you’re doing better than you think. 🫶🏾

What’s getting you through this week?
☕ Coffee
🙏🏾 Prayer
💪🏾 Pure determination
😂 Or all three?

Don’t just tell her you love her. Show her. ❤️

Listen when she speaks.
Stand by her through the good and the difficult days.
Be patient. Be kind. Make an effort to understand her heart.

Love isn’t just found in words. It’s in the little things—the thoughtful gestures, the sacrifices, the support, and simply being there.

Because love that is shown is love that is felt. And love that is felt is love that lasts. ❤️✨

Never forget who invited you to the table when you had nothing. ❤️

Stay humble. Stay grateful. 🙏🏽✨

5 Weird Things I’d Never Seen Before Moving to Canada 🇨🇦😂

Moving to a new country comes with SO many surprises! Some things that seemed completely strange at first eventually became part of everyday life. 😂

1. Bags of garden soil outside supermarkets 🌱
Just sitting there… completely unattended! 😳
Coming from somewhere where you wouldn’t expect this, it made me realize early on how much trust is built into everyday life here.

2. Bagged milk 🥛
Milk… in a bag?! 😂
I honestly thought, “How am I supposed to pour this?” It felt so strange at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly!

3. Different windshield washer fluids 💦❄️
I had no idea there were different formulas for different seasons. Winter fluid is made to handle freezing temperatures, while summer fluid helps deal with bugs and road grime. Canada really said, “Prepare for everything!” 😂

4. “Indestructible” money 💵
Canadian bills are made from polymer, so they can survive things like an accidental trip through the washing machine. Now THAT was new to me! 😂

5. Ketchup chips 🍅🥔
Chips that taste like ketchup?! 😂
The first time I saw them, I was definitely skeptical. But that tangy, salty flavour somehow works—and now I understand why Canadians love them!

Moving to a new country can be full of surprises, but sometimes it’s these little things that make you feel at home. 🍁❤️

What’s something you saw in Canada for the first time and thought, “Wait… WHAT?!” 😂👇

Moving to Canada won’t magically fix your life 🇨🇦

If you move here but keep the same habits, you may end up frustrated and wondering, “Why is this so hard?” 😩

Here are 5 things you may need to change when starting over in Canada:

1. Leave your pride at the door 👑
Your past experience matters, but Canada may not know your old resume yet. Be ready to start somewhere, learn the system, gain local experience, and work your way up.

2. Change how you handle money 💸
Canada can be expensive! Rent, groceries, taxes, transportation, and bills can add up quickly. Learn to budget and watch your spending from day one.

3. Stop waiting for friends to find you 🤝
Canadians can be warm and friendly, but building close friendships takes time. Join groups, talk to people, attend community events, and put yourself out there.

4. Change your winter mindset ❄️
Winter can feel long, especially when you're new here. Instead of staying indoors and complaining about the cold all season, find ways to stay active, connected, and positive.

5. Do your own research 🔍
Don’t move because of one viral video saying, “Canada is the best!” 😂
Research jobs, rent, taxes, schools, transportation, and the real cost of living before making a big decision.

Because moving across the world changes your location… not your habits.

Canada can give you a new beginning, but you still have to do the work. 🇨🇦❤️
