Since I got the algorithm bumping today (so my daughter says) this set is available to customize. I found beautiful wood grain under that faux finish on the drawers.

Delivery update!!! I’ve done a lot of research on what furniture stores and 3rd party shippers/delivery services charge. I deliver about 99% of my pieces. I try to keep my fees reasonable for my clients but my new goal is to charge enough that it’s not costing me as I haven’t been charging enough. Delivery fees are charged based on kms to cover fuel, wear and tear, insurance and an hourly rate for our time.

Deliveries to major cities like Regina, Calgary and Edmonton will be based on a minimum of 3 scheduled deliveries. I will not be able to provide a time frame as it all depends on sales. Typically we delivery to those areas every 2 months.

I have always provided delivery as a service and tried to charge the bare minimum as an appreciation but it’s costing me way too much. It’s very physically demanding work as well and a lot of work coordinating all the deliveries.

Pickup is always an option. Going forward I will be sticking to my mileage/hourly rate. I will still offer the discounted delivery rate when I have multiple pieces going to the same area but also ensuring I’m covering my costs.

I do offer rush delivery if you’re wanting your pieces right away but it costs substantially more.

These dressers are available again🤩! My client had purchased them knowing the one dresser was 1 inch too longer and wouldn’t be able to close her closet door. I have found a smaller set for her now that I will refinish the same so these are available.
I will try to message everyone that messaged about them but my inbox is overwhelming.
I do have a set of nightstands that could be refinished to match as well.

The joys of refinishing, not everything goes as planned but you learn to pivot. Thats how you learn. I had a different vision for this dresser trying new techniques but it ended up turning out exactly the way my heart told me so I guess it was meant to be. This set is so beautiful and so well made. A soft black, combined with this beautiful wood tone, added fluting and updated modern hardware- I stunning combination. Check out the before picture in the comments.
