We were challenged by NORTH NODE architecture, a leading full-service Architectural and Structural Engineering practice in Saskatoon, to develop an Interactive Sunburst Diagram for their Services Page.

A Sunburst Diagram is used to visualize data, depicted by concentric circles. The circle in the centre represents the root node, with the hierarchy moving outward from the center.

After days of research, we settled on a javascript-based solution for them.

A large proportion of the population are visual learners, around 65%. Nowadays the average human attention span is eight seconds. You are more likely to hold your viewer's attention with an animation over a still image.
