Hi folks, as you may or may not know Caves is no longer a band. We recorded four songs with the great Jill Mack in March 2020 right before everything shut down. Decided to finally share them with you as our final ep. Big thank you to Josh Rohs for all his amazing work mixing and enhancing, and Aron Zacharias for mastering the songs! Thanks for listening.

Pop Quiz Records is proud to announce the debut self-titled album from Gus Davidson. Performing in numerous Saskatoon bands from Lion Stab, to A Gentle Forest and Caves, Angus Dickin has emerged in 2020 as a solo artist, presenting his vision for electronic music as Gus Davidson. If you know Angus, you know one of the most respectful, sensitive and supportive people of the prairie music scene. This disposition is infused into the warm grooves and embodied melodies of his music, often played live on synths over his drum machines. Gus Davidson’s track titles provide clues to the meaning and references in his compositions, yet mostly shy away from fixing those semantic frameworks, acting rather as a loose or soft guide that encourages each listener to make unique emotional and personal connections.
