Been a road dog this past month! 🐕🚙

Here’s a little road trip from Illinois to Memphis, TN!! I’ve spent the month bouncing around trade shows and events && am now switching gears straight into hunting season.

I truly love this life and all the places, people, and opportunities that come with it.

Lets talk about WHY we dig water holes for deer.🦌💧

The goal is to create a setup that provides everything a deer needs in one area. Putting those resources together can create more daylight opportunities and help us pattern deer movement.

Did you know? A deer can drink 1.5–3 gallons of water a day, and that need increases during these hot summer months (and the rut).

RIP to a true Florida legend, Flip Pallot.

Born and raised in South Florida, Flip’s life was deeply intertwined with the waters, woods, and wild places that make this state so special. He didn’t just explore Florida — he helped define the outdoor culture that so many of us are lucky enough to be part of.

A legendary angler, storyteller, conservationist, and true outdoorsman, Flip had a way of making you appreciate the places we call home and the traditions passed down through generations.

As a fellow Floridian, his legacy hits a little closer to home. Few have done more to inspire people to get outside, respect the resource, and appreciate the wild Florida we’ve been blessed with.

Rest easy, Flip. Thank you for leaving Florida — and the outdoors — better than you found it.

Days like this weekend remind me just how incredibly blessed I am to call this a “job.” ❤️

Drake Waterfowl had the honor of coming on as the presenting sponsor of Sandbar Social 2026, where we were able to support some of our incredible ambassadors, Water Cowboys & Joseph Edwards, as they came together to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Children’s Research Hospital.

And in a SINGLE DAY… they wrote a check for $70,000.

We may all be united by our love for chasing ducks and experiencing so many of the incredible creatures God created, but weekends like this remind me that it’s about so much more than that.

It’s about coming together. Giving back. Serving others. And being part of something that has an impact far beyond ourselves — something that can change lives and, ultimately, change eternity.

I truly believe God was smiling down on Sandbar Social this weekend. I know without a doubt that this day made an impact for the Kingdom.

Thank you Jesus for every single person who showed up, gave, donated, supported, laughed, celebrated and helped make this possible.

$70,000 for St. Jude. What a blessing. What a weekend. What a reminder of how good God is!!!

The more you know!!! 🧪🦌🍀🫛🍁

🍀 For our clover, we’re spraying Clethodim to kill grasses and Butyrac to control broadleaf weeds.

🫛 On our soybeans, we’re spraying roundup for the grasses and enlist for the broadleaves.

🍁 For our fall food plots, we’re spraying Roundup and 2,4-D this combo is going to wipe out everything so we can start with a clean seedbed!!

Let’s talk about The Great American Duck Toss…

Here’s how it works: We make custom Drake Waterfowl rubber ducks, hand them out throughout the day, and every duck gets its own number. Then, at a set time… it’s GO TIME.

We toss out all the remaining ducks, set up empty decoy bags on top of the truck (aka Darla 🚛), have everyone take a picture of their number, and then the crowd takes their best shot at throwing their rubber duck into a bag… all at the same time!

It’s chaotic. It’s competitive. It’s loud. And somehow it gets more intense every time.

Once the toss is over, we pull ducks from the bags, call out the number on the bottom, and the lucky duck gets a prize!

We’re talking 𝗧𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴™, TURTLEBOX, ammo, duck calls, and sometimes even a RetayUSA (OFFICIAL) sh***un! 🔥

It’s one of those traditions that started as a little fun and has turned into something we look forward to at every Drake event.
