There’s something so special about the way grandparents love children. 🤍

Whenever my parents went away, my grandma never just “watched us.” She gave us something to look forward to. A project. A goal. Something to work on while we missed them.

We’d spend the days crafting, painting, creating… counting down until Mom and Dad came home so we could proudly hand them what we made. And somehow, without even realizing it then, she taught me that missing someone can also be productive, comforting, and full of love.

Now when my husband leaves for long work trips, I catch myself doing the exact same thing with my own kids.

Little projects.
Little traditions.
Little ways to turn “Dad’s gone” into “Let’s make something for him.”

And every time I do, I realize how much of motherhood is just passing down the love we were once given ourselves. 🤍

If you like real life, a little chaos, and good conversations—hi, I’m Jordhan 👋🏼

Teacher by day, podcast host by night, based in Saskatoon.

I started this podcast after a cancer diagnosis that made me look at life a little differently. Instead of letting it consume me, I chose to put my energy into something I’d always wanted—something meaningful, local, and actually fun.

Now I get to sit down with incredible women (and sometimes men), hear their stories, learn along the way… and also talk about the chaos, the overstimulation, and the reality of life in the middle of such a busy season of motherhood.

Because truly… it’s always chaos over here.
My 1-year-old is constantly playing in the toilet and/or eating toilet paper, my pre-k is painting the walls, and my husband is leaving every single item in our house in plain sight in case he needs it again in 2 months.

My sense of humor is sarcastic, I love to laugh at myself, and I’m probably either watching reality TV, drinking a diet pop, or grabbing an iced coffee from McDonald’s.

If you’re here, I hope it feels like you’re having a coffee with me… or an evening drink… just two girls chatting about life.

This space is for anyone who wants something relatable, entertaining, sometimes light, sometimes heavy—but always real.
