What do I need to carry with me while deer hunting?

You must carry your Outdoors Card, licence summary listing your valid deer licence and printed tag for that species while hunting.

Deer hunters, we need your help!

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is a fatal, untreatable disease in deer, elk and moose.

CWD has been found in all surrounding provinces and American states we share a border with. Let’s keep it out of Ontario.

Be among the first 500 hunters to submit a sample and receive a crest for doing your part!

What is happening in May:

• spring black bear hunt opens in some areas of Ontario May 1
• draw results for moose primary allocation available May 16
• moose primary allocation tag claim period is open from May 16-June 7
• elk draw open until June 10
• antlerless deer draw continues to be open for entry until July 2
