The Coldwater Fairy Garden has come to life again this spring. It was lovingly created years ago by a wonderful community member, Sylvia Harrigan. Each year, this enchanting space grows with more magic and wonder, touching the hearts of everyone who visits. It has inspired the town to come together for a special event in August.

The Coldwater BIA is looking for volunteers for the Magical World of Faeries event on August 15th from 4 until 9 pm.

Submitted: The Downtown Orillia Business Improvement Area (DOBIA) Board of Management is excited to announce the Mariposa Downtown Stage music night coming up on Thursday July 2nd from 5pm to 9pm in downtown Orillia.

This free downtown live music event is moving to Thursday night to make it more inclusive and extend the festival fun for an extra day. Orillians and tourists can come downtown for a preview of the Mariposa music and vibe. The move to Thursday night also gives local downtown restaurants, bars and shops an opportunity to benefit from the increased foot traffic.

Spotted: Some incredible teamwork and camaraderie happening at the SCDSB Junior Girls Softball Area Tournament in Orillia today! All the girls worked so hard, playing 5-6 games and cheering on every team, not just their own!
