It’s hard to find the words for this.
Back in 2018, Future Forest was the first festival I ever played. I was 16 at the time and beyond excited just to have the chance to play at a real festival. I met so many amazing people and was blown away by the whole experience of simply being there. It’s truly a one of a kind place filled with love and excitement for an entire weekend.
Coming back this year and seeing my logo on the poster honestly feels surreal. Some of my happiest memories were made in that forest and being invited back this year as a headliner is something I never expected and am incredibly grateful for.
I don’t DJ every weekend, but I’m always working on music. For the past 10 years, most of my time has been spent behind Ableton putting ideas out into the world and just trying to get better. Since I started this project in 2021 I’ve been lucky enough to release close to 70 tracks, see them collectively reach over a million streams, receive support from artists I’ve looked up to for years, and even be part of a track this year that is nominated for an ECMA.
None of this happens without the people who have supported me along the way — every promoter who took a chance on me, every person who shared advice, and everyone who has listened to or supported my music in any way. I’m incredibly thankful for all of it.
I’m still kind of in disbelief that this is happening and I’m beyond grateful for this. I can’t wait to be back in the forest! 🌲
