This months adventure was back home for Christmas and spending time with my crazy amazing familia. This was a gift drawn for my brother who always used to keep me up with The Hobbit playing on blast in his room next door. Now he has his own new space with new roomies to annoy (but also new walls to decorate!) 😉 Love him to bits anyways. Enjoy this mystical-fall-hobbit hot girl walk™️

A perfect sunny day to get outside, set out a blanket, and scribble! I’ve been taking art a little too seriously lately which always ends up in a lot of frustration and not a lot of art… so to get back in the groove, I go in with no expectations and often just start with some scribbles and see where they go. This time they turned into strawberries. Messy art is the best. Helps to take the pressure away and get back in love with creating (a few lil creatures floating around helps the inspiration too ;)) Don’t let perfectionism get in the way of doing the things that make you smile 😊

Eeeehehehe check these cuties out! I was so excited when my hometown fair asked me to design a colouring sheet for a colouring contest so how could I say no!! Here it is finished and check out the Shawville Fair page to print one out for yourself. Only kids can join the contest but nothings stopping you big kids from colouring one in too 😉!! AND if you do please pLeAsE PLEASE show me!!! So excited to see how people add their own style to it. Happy colouring!!

Happy birthday to my incredible sister!! Emma Judd One of the most inspiring, brave, passionate, take-no-crap people I know. Any move she makes she makes with confidence, pride, and a whole lotta style. She makes sure that everyone feels loved and celebrated on their birthdays with the most beautiful cakes…unfortunately I didn’t get the cake decorating gene but I tried (with help from Justin)!! It’s giving children’s book realness, it’s giving blank stare foxy side eye, it’s giving magical garden chaos-rabbit confusion-woodland dance party. I am so happy with how this turned out!!! I started this sometime last year and was having so much fun working on it but then a million other things got in the way and I never got around to finishing it. Today. Was. That. Day. I’m in love!! I’m picturing a birthday card with this on the outside, the caption on the inside: “Happy Birthday!! Dance like it’s your last!!” See the vision? 🐰💀…too cryptic? Hope you love it as much as I do!! Ta da- another sketchbook page!! Look familiar? Anyone else looking forward to the sun hanging around on a more regular basis? Wanted to share this spread from last summer ☀️☀️ This was a sort of journal page I did after a couple of days of walking around and exploring the beautiful (but rainy) Quebec City with my mom and dad as well as getting to watch my partner do his thang (swipe to see!📎). I decided to find a spot to sit and commemorate the adventures- including the ground hog that wouldn’t stop staring at me as I drew (I eventually moved, clearly I was intruding haha!!).
