Congrats to The Smiths Falls Gordon Pipe Band! They are undefeated this summer winning 1st place over the weekend at North Umberland Highland Games in Port Hope and the weekend prior in Georgetown and also 1st in Richmond back in May. If you see a piper or the band rehearsing in Smiths Falls give them a cheer and congratulate them! -BK

Another great win today in Port Hope at the Northumberland Scottish Festival & Highland Games! Great work folks! It was a very tight race with some excellent bands and some challenging windy conditions but we came through. Well done everyone!

Well done everyone! The band has a bit of a break from the competition circuit for now but will continue on Sat July 18th at the Cambridge Scottish Festival. Our next event as a band will be the Canada Day parades in both Merrickville (11am) and Newberry (6pm). We hope to see you there!

🚂💪 Canadian Grandmasters Strongman Tim Norris just pulled a 60,000-pound caboose at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario ! Yes, you heard that right! And it’s all to help raise funds for a brand-new roof at the museum!

Final tally: 83 FEET! A new strongman record!!!

Congratulations, Tim—what an amazing feat of strength! 💥
