Remember when we were kids and the big floor model TV S.T.B. and Mom and Dad put the little TV from their bedroom on top of the floor model and we made do until the big TV got fixed?

And…

Remember when DJs who were former IT Professionals would never update their systems until all the bugs were worked out?

Well…

Here is a photo of my setup tonight. My $400 DJ Controller is sitting on top of my $4000 DJ Controller.

Thanks everyone for coming out last night to The Elm Tree to hang out with The New Norm. With so many other things going on this long weekend, the fact that you chose to hang with us means a lot. Grab your friends for next week, due to a fortunate scheduling oversight, our show will continue next Saturday Night. Hey there folks! The New Norm is at The Elm Tree on Saturday night from 10pm-2am for one of the last big nights of the Summer. Hope to get there a few hours early because we have upgraded a lot of the gear and Norm wants to set it up and play around with it somewhere other than Sheila’s dinning room table 😉. Hope to see you all there. Our goal for this upcoming season is to have The Elm Tree be standing room only, with a lineup outside whenever The New Norm, DJ-Lectro21, DJDave's Music Services, or any of the great DJs that play The Tree are there, but we need you to make it happen. Hope to see you Saturday night!
