This was Camelshoof Mountain in Lillooet, a short and steep hike I did when I needed to do something a bit shorter due to a late night. Was a fun drive, and a rewarding hike. Excellent views for the effort. Check out the full details below:

Oh yeah my Instagram exists

Anyways here's what I did on September 8th 🙃, I was recovering from my rib injury on Mount Cline, so naturally the solution was going for 1800 gain in like 8 hours round trip! Outram is a super good trail so it made that fairly easy, the hardest part was indeed the fact that I could only take like 60% of a full breath 😅. Made it work, and got down before sundown for a pleasant change. Full deets in the full TR:

Finally getting around to the last of my peaks in the rockies, we went for another 11000er, Mount Cline

Was an epically long day (partially thanks to adding Mount Owen, and partially due to navigating open, rocky terrain in the dark), but tons of fun. Had some dicey scrambling in the notches, and even more so descending Owen directly towards Cline, but we got it done!

The next peak of the trip was Tunnel Mountain. Normally, this is a trivial hike, the kind you can drag your family on if you're visiting Banff 🤣

So we spiced it up by doing a climbing route! Gooseberry was a fun, mostly sport multi-pitch (my first, actually) to get up a more interesting way. Lots of fun, and a good way to spend the day, get a peak, not burn yourself out, and be done in time for dinner. 10/10 would recommend

After Harrison, we got some heavy precip and laid low for a bit. Once it eased up, we needed something to do that would go with snow still lingering in the alpine. I saw this peak on topo maps, no trail to the summit or beta on it, but it looked good, so we went for it. Was actually a great approach trail, not far from Golden, and a super nice alpine ridge. Some annoying boulders at the end, but overall a success!
