Esther is safe & sound, back home where she belongs!
We are incredibly grateful to Shane & Jeri for allowing CatSAR to search, set up & prepare for Esther's safe capture on their property.

Part 1: The numbers are out & the verdict is in!

The Reality of Rescue Work:
A search for a lost cat can take as little as 5 minutes, to every single day and night for months!

We will NOT give up when we get a confirmed sighting.
But ultimately, the outcomes of our community pet cats depend on YOU...

There's no better cure than Prevention, right?

We want to thank Catsar, Sea to Sky BC SPCA volunteers and the community for coming together and taking 6 hours of their time to rescue Plum the baby bunny who decided that hiding in the under carriage of a car was the safe place to go.
Pouring down rain, cold and wind and skies that were getting dark, they were able to finally get him into a carrier, and the next morning, got him to us for further care.
This is what it is all about. Coming together as a community and working together, to make lives better for the animals.
Plum will be in quarantine for 10 days, be vaccinated for RHD or rabbit hemorrhagic disease and eventually neutered and microchipped. If anyone knows anything about this little guy or who he may belong to, please contact us and let us know.
