Friday's might be new release day in Canada for major labels but only your independent record store receives new, fresh and unique releases any day of the week.
This very impressive heavy alt/rock local group, CHAIN OF LYNX is all of the described above, clearly rooted in both 90's and 80's alt/rock with plenty of wailing guitars reminiscent of even 70's hard rock. This baby is to be played loud.
Of very special note, the band id donating all monies from sales to Easter Seals NL. It's a win-win at only $9.98 a CD.

Well, we might seem like a new kid on the block in the local entertainment industry, but that's not the case. As a division of Orion Entertainment, owned and operated by Robert Buck ( you MIGHT have heard of him), Amplify Talent has decades of industry experience backing this new adventure.

Our mission? To boost local talent while bringing your event to life!

Chain of Lynx - "Safe"

Chain of Lynx is the band that you likely haven't heard yet...but you will!
Made up of dynamic duo (although the SOUND 🤩 you'd think they were a group of four+) Neil Clarke and Matt Dicks, the diverse mix of style will keep you gripped from one hook to the next. Doesn't matter what you're into - folk, alt, psych, there is something for everyone. They even have a ditty with a old western spin that was featured in a short by GRIND MIND(which you should also check out by the way).
Velvet vocals + insane instrumentation + mega mixing = listen loud + love.

The cool news: you will be able to pick up their new album very soon!
The cooler news: ALL proceeds of this production will be donated to Easter Seals NL in hopes of helping recoup what was lost in the flood this summer.
The EVEN COOLER news: you will be able to check these guys out on December 28th at Element CoffeeBar & Lounge for their album release (tickets on sale soon!) and, you guessed it, proceeds of THAT are also going to Easter Seals NL.
