Hello friends and listeners,

This is Evan Barrett, the host of VOWR's Bluegrass Hour. I regret to inform you that, after three wonderful years, this Monday (October 20th) will be the program’s final episode. As I move forward into new chapters in my life, it has become necessary to put The Bluegrass Hour on an indefinite hiatus.

The kind messages and calls that I have received over have made Mondays my favourite day of the week! I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my love of Bluegrass music with you, the gracious listeners of VOWR. Words cannot express my gratitude for your support for the Bluegrass Hour and for VOWR Radio.

I hope you can join me this Monday from 4pm - 6pm for a special extended Bluegrass Hour show. I will be playing you two hours of all the Bluegrass hits and personal favourites!

Thank you for supporting our all-volunteer radio station VOWR! Your continued support has kept the "Music of your Life" flowing for 101 years!
