We had a full room last night full of lots of laughs and a lot of great people! A big thank you to Jack Axes Inc. and their best kind staff, Night Out Productions, and of course all our hilariously talented comedians who kept the room roaring.

Finally our hilarious HEADLINER for SATURDAY NIGHT is.....

VERONICA DYMOND!

Veronica Dymond is definitely, absolutely, one-hundred-percent a real human being and NOT secretly thousands of spiders in a skin suit. When she isn’t NOT catching her food in a web and eating it alive, she performs at venues around St. John’s and organizes local open-mic show “Comedy Up Yer Farce” at The Levee. She has written plays, short stories, and articles for comedy website Cracked.com. She also plays a mean ukulele and draws a comic called “Witless Babe.” You never know where she’ll show up next, so keep one of your eight – I mean two! -- eyes out for her!

LINDSAY BARRON!

The Cape Breton born Lindsay Barron is a wildly funny maverick in the comedy scene. He's headlined Comedy Up Yer Farce and has been somewhat of a staple at The Joke Mill’s “Comedians of Karaoke”. Between his boundary pushing jokes and his genuine spontaneity, no two performances are ever the same.

Our next comedian up on the chopping block for the night is.....

TODD BUTT!

Todd Butt is a new face to the local comedy scene. Starting his comedy career with Night Out Productions' First timers show in the summer of 2016 where he got a taste for the mic, he has been craving it ever since. Todd has quickly developed his stage presence and thinks it's funny when you cringe. You will get to know him well after listening to his set, as he definitely doesn't shy away from embarrassing life events where he happens to come up short. Be prepared, nothing is sacred when Todd hits the stage!

We're LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY from the big night! Let's get to know some of our 'sharp' witted comedians!

First off is MIKE HAMMOND!

Mike has been doing stand since 2012 and in that time has performed at Yuk Yuk's St. John's, headlined the Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax, and Headlined the Comedy Bar in Toronto. Mike is also a veteran improviser, performing improvised theatre for 14 years and is a founding member of Stanley Braxton Improv Co. His high energy stories are ripped from the reality of his own life and put on display like a twisted oddities tent filled with disappointing his parents...
