Are you paying attention yet?

I spoke about the 764 group months ago, and now here they are in Newfoundland and Labrador. (link to that video below)
That goes hand-in-hand with the under-16 social media ban I advocated for, also months ago. And now, instead of our province getting out ahead of these things, we are playing catch-up, and in the case of the social media ban, we are being dictated to by the feds.

I went back and forth on if I was going to speak my piece on this mockery of what a “star” is in this province.

Look, I don’t have a problem with any of the people they asked to be a part of this event. And, yes, it’s for charity and for a great cause. But when I see who was invited and who wasn’t, it just makes me want to puke.

No one has done more to promote Newfoundland and Labrador culture than me for as long as me. Real Newfoundlanders know this. Most of the money I make is from being a celebrity and appearance fees (which I would have waved for this event had I been asked). Real Newfoundlanders know this.

Who I feel bad for the most is the companies that donated so much money, expecting to get a better experience. I am able to talk about so many different topics and there’s never any awkward pauses that I find most other people have a problem with.

Maybe next year, if there is a next year, they’ll have a real star 🤷‍♂️

Everybody is upset with HelloFresh for this cheeky statement they posted for Pride Month, but not me.

I applaud them for their bravery. It’s time to recognize what Pride is all about. I think we should start calling this whole month long celebration by what it is. It’s not about Love. It’s not about “Love is love”. It’s a man’s world, ladies, and when it comes to what Gay Pride is celebrating, it’s about a couple of dudes getting together and pounding away on each other, sweating and grunting. And when it’s over, the feeling of shame and sadness.

Pride is about not feeling shameful or sad when you have dirty, unnatural s*x. That’s what it’s about for the fellas anyways. The fibre thing Hello Fresh is talking about is so the guys can clear out their bums of as much poo as possible so that when they have s*x with each other, they don’t get p**p everywhere. I don’t know what Le****ns do, I assume fi*****ng (the fact that no one has come up with another, classier, term besides ‘fi*****ng’ tells you all you need to know about that particular s*x act).

And look, before anyone gets on my case about homophobia, I think all s*x is disgusting. As the countless women who have tried to take advantage of me when I was drinking will tell you, I don’t find s*x or any kind of intimacy to be anything but uncomfortable and shameful.

Good news everyone! Transgender is now its own genre of music.

I am currently away on a parenting retreat and shouldn’t even be on my phone but I just had to share this article because it shows that trans isn’t just a gender thing. It’s also a music thing. It’s also a movie thing. It’s a style. It’s a flavour of food. Trans is everywhere!!

This “Ganderite” Travis Wiseman should have his citizenship revoked! I wonder where Mr. Wiseman was on the Day the World Came to Town? Probably not even thought into existence by his mommy and daddy and even if he was alive, he probably wasn’t doing much besides crawling around and babbling nonsense.

But nothing as nonsensical as what he writes in The Muse. How often does a 9/11 happen? Once a century if you’re lucky. And when the luck of God himself points to a small town and asks them to step up as heroes to the world, you have to take advantage of that good fortune for as much as you can get from it.

Maybe next Mr. Wiseman will suggest the people of Hawaii just move on from Pearl Harbour? I won’t exploit the tragic events of world war 2 to make anymore comparisons but let’s just say if young Travis had his way, the people of Poland might be asked to find other ways to attract tourists.

A lot of people in Alberta are getting this door-knocker, which amounts to fan fiction, left for them to read. And when you follow the links to the Alberta Prosperity Project, after you click past all the low-effort merch, you see a lot of talk about “Real Albertans”.

And I just gotta know who are these real Albertans? How can you tell who is a real one and who is a phoney? And who is it that gets to decide?

Please educate me.

It is June and, in case you didn’t hear it anywhere else, the start of Gay Pride Month. All 3 NL parties made their heartfelt posts about it, however only the NDP is allowing comments. What does that tell you? 🤔
