THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS TODAY!!! 🕛

The Thursday Comics Annual TWELVE BOOKS of CHRISTMAS for 2023 will begin tonight at 8pm EST with selections for Book #12 from Dennis Osbourne, broadcaster & reconteur and from the Godfather of Comics, Wallace Ryan. We will release a new episode every day for the next twelve days right up to Christmas Eve when we announce our Honourable Mentions and each of our choices as our #1 favourite hardcover book of 2023.

We will choose our Twelve favourite graphic novels or collected editions of comic books or comic strips for the year 2023. This listing is exclusively for books published in hardcover.

AND as usual, we have compiled our lists in secret, even from each other. So, the shock, surprise, outrage and fistfights you will hear, will be real.

TOP TEN COMIC STRIPS
on tonight's "Giant Size Thursday Comics" #49!!!

I go solo tonight as Dennis had obligations that could not be rescinded, so I jumped into the driver's seat and went wild with my own Top Ten List of COMIC STRIP Collections!!!

The Library of American Comics and Fantagraphics own most of this show and rightly so, but I do mention a few other great publishers of comic strips along my way.
