We have joined Stephenville's effort to win $100,000 by participating in Participaction's Community Challenge. We are tracking our movement over the month of June. We encourage you to join Team Stephenville by registering and tracking movement! We need as many orgs and individuals as possible to register! Copy and pasted below is information from the Town on how to participate.

Stephenville is participating in the Participaction Community Challenge, a national initiative where communities across Canada compete for the title of Canada’s Most Active Community and a chance to win $100,000 for local sport and recreation initiatives.

📅 June 1–30, 2026

Who Can Participate?

Everyone can participate, including:
✅ Community organizations
✅ Sports teams & clubs
✅ Schools
✅ Businesses & workplaces
✅ Fitness facilities
✅ Walking/running groups
✅ Families & friend groups
✅ Individual residents

Even informal “active groups” can participate together.

What Counts?

Any activity that gets people moving can count, including:
🏃 Walking & running
⚽ Sports programs
💃 Dance classes
🏋️ Fitness classes
🚴 Cycling
🥾 Hiking
🎾 Recreation programs
🛝 Play activities
🧘 Yoga/stretching

Both traditional and non-traditional physical activity counts.

How Organizations Can Help

Organizations can support Stephenville by:
1️⃣ Registering for the ParticipACTION Community Challenge
2️⃣ Registering their June programs, events, and activities
3️⃣ Tracking participation numbers throughout June

The more organizations and participants involved, the stronger Stephenville’s overall score becomes.

Celebrating the spirit of the Harmon Hustle - Stephenville 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚🩵🤍💛

This piece was created using a collection of photographs that we took last year, that stood out to us throughout the event; moments of determination, encouragement, resilience, joy, exhaustion, celebration, and community connection.

One of the most beautiful things about the Harmon Hustle is seeing people of all ages and abilities show up together. From small children crossing the line with huge smiles, to youth pushing themselves, to adults and seniors continuing to prove that movement, community, and perseverance have no age limit.

Every photo in this image represents more than a race time. It represents effort. Support. Growth. Courage. Community pride.

Now that the cookies are out of the oven, and the secret is out, we can share too ☺️☺️

During our photoshoot, we filmed details, and little moments in between too. All with a special announcement video in mind-Momma is half way through her pregnancy, so HALF BAKED!! They mixed and baked cookies from scratch as a lil family, and HOW CUTE DID IT TURN OUT? We will be posting some of the photos in the coming days (But you can see a few at the end of the video too) ☺️

Happy EASTER!!

Century 21 & Recreation & Wellness Division - Town of Stephenville partnered to bring children of all ages an EASTER EGG HUNT in Blanche Brook Park yesterday!!

One of the cutest things to document, and so funny too. The toddlers were tripping and falling in all the new powder snow, I was having a laugh behind the camera nearly the whole time! The snow drifts were mountains to them, but they conquered!!

Maybe there's still an egg or two out there waiting to be found...
