One and O Fantasy Football

It’s been a while since I’ve stepped away from the podcast and back into teaching in the classroom, but this was too important not to share. The Official Ramp2Champ fantasy football league has wrapped its last week and like many fantasy football leagues, we were at a loss of what to do with the championship matchups, which seemed completely unimportant as Safety Demar Hamlin fights for his life after his cardiac arrest yesterday evening during the Bills-Bengals game. This was a very scary moment and we continue to await more updates. I am so unbelievably proud to be the commissioner of this league, as I asked what the Championship managers and the 3rd place victor wanted to do with the winnings, and they all have chosen to donate it to Demar Hamlin’s “The Chasing M’s” Community Toy Drive. I am so proud to be a member of this league and am inspired by their choice. It feels like something we are all doing together as this fundraiser has SMASHED its goal of $2500 with over 5 MILLION dollars currently, and something together is powerful and better than the powerlessness we all felt watching the amazing medical professionals and staff attempt to save his life and the affect and trauma experienced by his teammates, coaches, staff and fans at the game. Praying for Demar’s health and for him to be okay, from all of us in the Ramp2Champ fantasy football league. ❤️💙
