The characters feel real, the emotions run deep. 📝✨ My daughters found it to be such a sweet and honest reflection of life’s little truths.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lydya, and she’s been such a gift! She’s helped me with projects that went beyond my own expertise, and I'm so grateful for her. 💡🎉

🌟 Mental health matters. People in crisis matter. 🌟

ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) is a powerful, life-changing workshop. This two-day program provides participants with the skills to recognize the signs of someone at risk of su***de and to intervene with compassion and confidence. It’s about ensuring that individuals in crisis feel seen, supported, and valued during their most vulnerable moments.

This training is facilitated by two compassionate and skilled individuals, Krista Kelly and Karla Veens, whom I’ve had the honour of working with personally. Their dedication to this vital cause is deeply inspiring.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to take a similar program. It was an impactful experience, and I truly believe everyone should have access to this type of training. Because mental health matters, and people navigating crises need to know that they matter.

I'm really excited to be the website designer and sponsor for the new strathroydance.ca 💜

This project is extra special, because it blends my work passion with my family life. My kids are proud SDC dancers, and I am also the newest member of the board.

Strathroy Dance Club has been inspiring young dancers since 1961, offering both recreational and competitive programs to kids aged 3-18. It’s a not-for-profit, volunteer-run club dedicated to making dance accessible and fostering a love for the arts in our community.

When creating the new site, the goal was simple: to make it easy for families to find everything they need. From class information to schedules, it’s designed with parents in mind. And my favourite feature? The silhouettes on the site are actual SDC dancers, making it even more personal and special.

I’ve been having fun exploring the latest ChatGPT hack, so what better excuse for a re-introduction than through my signature action figure? Yep, it’s me, but in AI-inspired form!

Here’s a little about the real-life me:

🏃‍♀️ I’m a passionate runner, currently gearing up for my 4th half marathon. I run several times a week and lift weights with an amazing group at All Out Training 💚💪🏻

👩‍👧‍👦 I’m the proud mom of two competitive dancers, which means my life revolves around dance classes, costumes, and competitions. I also recently joined the executive board of their dance organization, and I’m thrilled to bring my skills to the table.

🐾 Then there’s Tank, my very needy (but lovable) sidekick. He acts more like a toddler than my kids did when they were little!

💧 My go-to accessory? My trusty water bottle. My husband laughs at my desire to have a water bottle with me at all times, and my kids will confirm I’ve turned nagging them to drink water into an Olympic sport.
