September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. A day to pause, reflect, and confront the brutal legacy of the residential school system in Canada.
We stand in solidarity, remembering the innocent lives lost and upholding the message that Every Child Matters. The trauma and injustice caused by these schools are ongoing, and so too must be our efforts toward genuine reconciliation.
May we dedicate ourselves to learning the full, unvarnished truth of Canadian history and committing to tangible, supportive change in our own communities.
