The Boldt Castle - Alster Tower

Standing proudly on Heart Island, Alster Tower looks like it was lifted straight from a medieval fairytale. Built by George C. Boldt, the visionary hotel magnate behind New York’s legendary Waldorf-Astoria, this remarkable stone tower was part of his dream to create an extraordinary island retreat.

Surrounded by the sparkling waters of the St. Lawrence River, its turrets, towers, and rugged stone walls tell a story of ambition, romance, and dreams left unfinished. Keep ascending, even when the summit seems distant. The view from the mountaintop is reserved for those who never stop believing and climbing🎉🎑🏞

*The Flora Mountain massif in the Chilliwack Lake area of British Columbia. It is located within Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park, near the famous Lindeman and Greendrop Lake trails.

The mountain range itself belongs to the larger Cascade Range, which stretches from British Columbia into the United States. 🍁🇨🇦🍁

*This is just one steep rocky slope to be able to proceed to a place called Green Drop lake which can take anywhere between 1.5 to 2 hours hike from Lindeman lake.
