Due to hot, dry conditions, there is a ban on open fires effective immediately across the entire province.

I just stoped in at J.R. Rahey's where Jason is live on location for the 5 Million Dollar inventory Clearout. This is the biggest clearout they have ever done, so hurry on down😆🛌

I also got a chance to test out some of their furniture. My favourite was definitely the Cozzia Massage Chair, it was amazing!! So make sure to stop by and test one out💺😁

Born July 30, 1971: Gordon Francis Sampson from Big Pond, Nova Scotia (population 47). Gordie has written songs for Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Rascal Flatts. Gordie has a Grammy Award, a Juno Award, two ASCAP Awards, East Coast Music Awards, and honorary degrees from Cape Breton University and St. Francis Xavier University. Gordie heads back home to Canada every summer to spend time with family and friends in his beloved Cape Breton and to perform in the Maritimes. Gordie performs Sunday in Sydney River. Happy Birthday Gordie Sampson !!!
