Did you know Doula work can stretch far beyond just watching children.

Doula work can look like cooking breakfast for your family, providing hands on breast feeding support, cleaning & tending to your other toddlers busy feet.
All of this is a means for a family to slowly fall back into a regular routine at home.

The “To do’s” can feel awfully daunting as a NEW mom especially when more children at home are dependent on your care.
This allows Mom to open up a closer bond immediately after birth without the added anxiety stressors that come with an every day Monday busy life.
Fathers ultimately feel less stress seeing their mothering wife with immediate support and companionship.

Thats what i like to gift NEW family and especially those NO cook just heat frozen prepped meals. 😋
Its all a balance. Happy mamma, happy Monday.

They are one. This position is very powerful.

This is a wonderful birthing position that women frequently and instinctively take when not encumbered by someone else’s rules about where and how they should give birth. The sacrum, ischial tuberosities and soft connective tissues are are freely moving, opening the bottom (outlet) of the pelvis allowing baby to pass through more easily and quickly. The woman can reach down and feel her tissues stretching, guiding the birth of her baby. From here she can move into hands and knees, an asymmetrical lunge, reclining or even standing—whatever her body instinctively does to assist her baby. They are one. They labor in concert. They are born together.

Birth position with the peanut ball. Not all exercise needs to be up and physical.

Do you know about the Flying Cowgirl birthing position? 🤠

This position is an effective technique that moves the p***c bone away from the spine, opens the inlet, and helps baby enter the pelvis.

This dramatic position can be done in bed while lying on one side for three to six contractions before switching to the other side.

Arching the back and stretching the knees away from the abdomen shifts the pelvis forward, allowing baby to rotate and/or drop into the pelvis.

In Doula care you witness BIG mile stones.
You’re along side the LO & mamma for their BIG accomplishments, you laugh and share stories with mammas & family members it’s all and all a big movement feel.

Thankful for being a doula, as also having doula support available.
At night to sleep I count ducks not sheep.

Always an angle.

When your hands truly can’t do but your mind can.

The thoughts we get up to while sitting still in the depths of our household and our chaotic life’s.

Sometimes all it needs is that someone. To be there for you in times of need to still fill your babies cup as it needs.
You to not miss a heartbeat on other kids little running feet.

Times like these, oh isn’t it nice for a mamma to be set free sometimes in the fields.

Caring while a mamma is able to be there for her child’s first orientation day at school fully deserved.

Beautiful sunny Thursday. ☀️
Have a wonderful day today and remember this time of year you may feel a sense of awakening and some feelings of happiness after the cold dark winter.

This time of year may make your body want to set into overdrive,
spring clean get your perfect bod back so back to the gym you go
for some it may be a feeling of happiness to finally feel and see the sunlight again. Warmer days means a simple walk outside,
a simple opening of your windows to cleanse out all the bad germs that have been cooped up through the winter.
A cleaning of your deck for your new arrival of all your plants.
Sitting rocking a little while he/she sleeps while you start to see the sunlight creep through the blinds 🌱
No matter what it looks like, how BIG or how small it may seem.
I’m happy to see it and that is simply all.

Doula able to serve so that mom’s cup can be completely full once it becomes time to.

Watering where I can is always my aim at the end of the day.
