Throwback Thursday to this cutest little MCM cabinet!

I love everything about it and I’m so glad I get to admire its cuteness everyday 🙂

It was a lot of work to remove the cantaloupe chalk paint but worth all the effort.

The drawers were given a faux wood look and the base was painted with SW Emerald trim enamel. The legs were washed with Algonquin by Fusion.

Serena & Lily “Driftway” faux linen look dressers!

I loved the look of these dressers but THE PRICE!! So I decided to try to give this MCM set a makeover.

The set was prepped, primed with BIN, then glazed using Saman Glaze mixed with SW Debonair, a lovely blue green colour. 4 coats of High Performance flat for lots of protection, and beautiful new hardware complete the look.

Black is hard to capture in photos but so beautiful in person! I’m loving the dark and classy vibes on this piece. Such a huge transformation. And although the solid maple top fought me a bit (actually a lot, lol!) I’m super happy with how it turned out.
