On December 21, 2021, at approximately 11:30 am, The Pas RCMP responded to a call of an airplane crash at the Grace Lake Airport, in The Pas.

The Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and the RCMP immediately attended.

Initial investigation has determined that an airplane travelling from Pukatawagan, landed on an unmaintained runway at the airport. The runway was not being used and there was a buildup of snow. When the airplane landed it travelled a short distance before the nose of the airplane struck the ground.

The pilot and five adult passengers did not suffer any serious injuries.

The Pas RCMP along with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, continue to investigate.
